A new over-the-air update for HP TouchPad is now available. (For details about how over-the-air updates work, click here.)
Some of the new functionality you'll find in the new update include:
- A new Camera app for photos and video
- The ability to pair non-webOS phones to your TouchPad, so you can answer calls on your TouchPad. Pairing with non-webOS Bluetooth keyboards has also been streamlined.
- Support for OGG Vorbis music files
- Online/offline messaging status support.
In addition to new features, you'll also experience better performance, user interface improvements, and other enhancements such as support for accelerometer events in Adobe Flash Player, and more robust Skype video calling. For more details about the update, click here.

Does it let you connect with older webOS phones as well (like the original Pre)?

You guys are absolutely awesome. We're with you all the way.

Sounds fantastic!!! What non-webOS phones will it pair with? Does this fix the media-indexing bug? :-)
Keep up the great work!
Stu :-)

That is great, But how about unicode font support for browser so that we can read non-english websites too?

I really like the new pairing feature.

Why NOT provide a separate app for Skype..The integrated Video chat is really confusing..and delays updates to Skype..
Looks at the performance of the video chat..it is NOT usable..choppy...

Does webOS 3.0.4 allow *only* receiving calls from the Touchpad from non-webOS devices? How about placing calls from the Touchpad?

Very nice update overall. I appreciate the camera app and the app store browser seems much faster. Unfortunately, you can no longer turn off advanced gestures. Your setting is simply ignored. :-(

Thank you for continuing to build WebOS functionality into the Touchpad! Would LOVE to see Netflix functionality on the TouchPad--that would greatly help the iPad vs. TP debate in my house.

I paired my Touchpad with my iPhone 4s. Neat. I was able to receive a call, but the contact info that was stored on my iPhone did not display on the Touchpad. Would I have to have the contact info on the Touchpad as well?

Thank for the continued support in this update.
However I'd still like the ability to import my bookmarks.
