Maybe you've heard that Palm webOS 2.0 is coming. Many of the details are still under wraps, but webOS developers participating in Palm’s early access program are getting a preview of the next version of our platform. A beta version of Palm webOS 2.0, the most significant update since its inception in 2009, was released to developers today. For more information, see the Palm Developer Center.

This is all very exciting. But I second the first comment. It's time to extend the app catalog paid option to all countries in the world. If you are concerned about the credit card differences, activate a option to pay via paypal.

Heard about Stacks! Sounds super cool! I hope you can 'fan' the cards open and close (like an actual deck of cards) to open and close them within stacks!

Too little too late. So many Android phones to choose from that WebOS is totally irrelevant now. The only folks with Pres/Pixis now are Sprint folks like me who think the Epic and EVO are too big to own. I seriously doubt Palm's new device will kick in before the HTC aria equivalent comes to Sprint.

The changes sound amazing. You have us hooked. Now, can you please put more pressure on the carriers to release 1.4.5? How are we ever going to get such a major release as 2.0 if it is going to take months for the carriers to release a minor release like 1.4.5?

OK. What about FlashPlayer 10.1? We've been hearing for many months that it is "under development" and will be released for WebOS imminently. Not even a beta version yet. What is Palm/HP waiting for? I'm really excited about WebOS 2.0 but including the much anticipated Flash 10.1 would make it that much more enticing.
