What flashes in your mind when you think about Palm webOS? Some people apparently have visions of wizards, stop-motion origami, and fervently flaunting flash cards dancing in their heads. Those are just some of the intriguing -- and now award-winning -- videos you may have seen in the recently concluded “palmSpot” contest held by webOSroundup.
Hundreds of thousands of people viewed the entries, and over 23,000 cast their vote to crown winners for the funniest, most original, best showcase for webOS, and overall best-of-show videos. You can see the winners for each category over at webOSroundup. Josh Marinacci of Palm’s developer relations team was so inspired by the contest entries that he put together his own video that asks (and answers) the question “What makes webOS fans different from the rest?”
