The first Palm webOS phone -- Palm Pre, running on the Sprint network -- arrived on the market less than a year ago. Since then, the Palm webOS family of phones has grown to include Palm Pixi, Palm Pre Plus, and Palm Pixi Plus.
Today, with the arrival of Palm webOS phones on the AT&T network, this family of "Best of CES" phones is now available on all three of the major US mobile carriers -- Sprint, Verizon Wireless, and now AT&T -- providing innovative phone choices for the vast majority of US customers. Palm phones are also available from carriers in seven other countries (Canada, Mexico, UK, Germany, Ireland, Spain, France) in Europe and North America.
And we¹re just getting started. As noted at the unveiling of the Palm webOS platform at the 2009 CES, this platform was designed to evolve and scale to drive at least the next decade of innovative mobile devices. But as Abraham Lincoln noted, "the best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time." So if you¹ve been waiting for the day you could pick up a Palm webOS phone on AT&T, the future arrived today.

sad part is i went yesterday, ther were NO pre signs ANYWHERE, no sign of any type of phone launch, i asked the guy and he says "oh yeah thats tommorrow" i asked if they had a dummy phone or a live phone for me to play with and they said "nope" and i was like UMM the day before launch, no SIGNS , no PHONE out, NOTHING??? sorry doesn't seem promising :/ i wish u guys the best i'm really pulling for you but if thats a sign of wat other stores are like then it isn't gonna go too well if people dont know its happening.

I am an American living in Bulgaria. When will I be able to buy a PRE to replace my TREO 680?
Unlocked, Quad band WebOS phone to use here?

Happy for palm about the rollout. But the Apple and Droid store are releasing apps like crazy. I now understand documents to go may never come, and the app store was down on Saturday (5/15/10). This does not make me fell like waiting in line at the Sprint store last summer was worth it. If iPhones had the same success in being on all major networks not sure Palm would survive.

...what about Tmobile? Do they suddenly not exist?

Well, I hope with the acquisition by HP, it'll soon be available for the rest of the world soon.iPhone has been so successful even I'm using it now. Both me and my friends gave up waiting for Palm while we were looking for phone upgrade.we wait until we see the announcement that palm has no plans for other countries yet. We were so disappointed that we both get ourselves an iPhone. Palm come on pls...

Ok, battery's low... Time to put it on the Touchstone.

I would like to know who at T-Mobile pissed off someone at Palm, they haven't carried your products since the Treo 650.

How about some indication when Palm will get back in Australia. I can't wait forever. Tried HTC & Blackberry in store but the Calender is aweful. The old Treo 650 won't last forever.

Hey curious. I'm a Sprint guy and have the Pre gen 1 and I see the Pre Plus and stuff and I'm hoping you guys will now have a Pre2 and release on Sprint first because us die hard fans have stuck with you guys through everything. I mean Sprint still charges more for the Pre reg then what the Pre Plus is going for. Where's the Sprint Love. We embraced you guys please don't forget about us.

I love the WebOS platform but I hate the hardware. I stood in line all night for the Pre when it launched and it wasn't worth it. I've had the power button fall out, it's been replaced and then stopped working at all. The volume turns itself off at least once a day. It freezes and locks up, it's very disappointing. I've had enough & I'm bailing and switching to the HTC EVO when it comes out. Which is sad to me because I've been with Palm since the very first TREO.

Palm was too late in bringing Palm Pre, then they chose Sprint. Now it's available on Verizon and AT&T, but no word about unlocked one. Palm should have also released unlocked Pre long back. I am looking to replace my Treo 680 with an unlocked GSM for some time, but looks like I will have to pick up one of the Androids.

I have waited for this day for almost 2 years. Almost jumped ship to sprint or Verizon. Now I have it. The Pre on AT&T. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PHONE!!!! I've been playing with it since Sunday morning. I couldn't be happier. Upgraded from my Treo 680 - moved my contacts over easily. Syncing now with Google - an interesting concept. So far Synergy is awesome. Worth waiting for PALM! Keep up the good work.

I guess I'm still waiting. I have a 680 (unlocked) on AT&T. All I want is WiFi on a Cell Phone that has the great PALM apps that I've come to love and depend on. I don't want a Data plan. If I am in WiFi range, great. If not, then I intend to use this as as a phone & PDA combined. Period. So the only way I'll buy another Palm device is if I can buy it unlocked, and slide my existing SIM Card into it. So is there room in Palm/HP's great future for someone like me?

Virgin Mobile USA just introduced a Crapberry phone. Lower res screen than my 6 yr old Palm! Why not a Pre on Virgin Mobile USA?

Here it goes I am not going to whine webOS is awesome if you have not tried it you will love it! The phones are great for about 6 months but start to show wear then. I broke my first one and went into withdrawls waiting 24hours for a replacement. I use it for business and could not do without it. I looked at the HTC EVO and love the idea of 4G but tried the HTC Sense Android OS and hate it. HP and PALM throw us a bone if not a new phone hurry up and port webOS over to run the SLATE Tablet so I can have a new toy!

About time!
Can you guys work on your PIM software on the phone a bit? They're a little gimped - especially Tasks!

Where's the improved Pre hardware (plus, 2, whatever) for all us folks who went out and supported Palm day one on Sprint? You better announce something soon or you'll lose even more customers to HTC.

Does anybody have issues when they sync their Facebook events to the Calendar that it takes the times for the event and pushes it forward 3 hours as if it is taking the west coast time and converting it to the East Coast time when in fact it is already on the east coast time. It's frustrating when trying to view events that are in the wrong time slot.

Can Palm Pre Plus sold by AT&T able to be use access 3G data in Asia and Europe (UMTS 2100)? The following page shows it works under UMTS 2100 network while the spec in palm's homepage doesn't.

Hopefully you pick up the Foleo idea where you left it many moons ago. I don't know about a tablet but a 10" netbook running webOS and syncing dynamically with a handheld would cause me to dump my laptop immediately.

Good, now please get working on Canada. Bell's doing a horrible job selling the Pre and I've only seen one other than mine in the wild.

I LOVE PALM PRE W/WEB OS...BUT, AFTER A YEAR WITH THE FIRST PALM PRE (Sprint) I AM ANXIOUS FOR A NEW AND BETTER PRE. I BELIEVE IT IS TIME FOR 1st GENERATION PRE OWNERS TO BE AWARDED THE OPPORTUNITY OF THE NEXT PRE...PERHAPS, PRE PLUS 4G ?

I think it's great that Palm hardware is available through multiple carriers. Now if we could just get them to develop a phone with a full size keyboard or something similar to the iPhone instead of the Blackberry-like tiny keyboard, we'd have it made.
