Just updated my phone to 1.4 and it is glitchy also. I though it was supposed to improve battery life but after 5 hours my phone was almost dead. I only texted a couple people, one short phono conversation and recorded a 12 sec video ( which i never was able to play back) My battery was holding fine before the update. I love this phone but wish the update was working better. hopefully there will be an update for the update?

Let me start out by stating that I love my Palm Pre...until the recent 1.4 update!! At first, I thought maybe it was my phone, but after 3 hard resets and 4 calls to Sprint/Palm tech help desk it was determined that the update is the cause for all of the "glitches" I'm having. The technician with Sprint said that he has had numerous calls similar to mine and his only solution he is able to give at this time is to reset the pre and do NOT upgrade to the 1.4 until Palm comes out with a "fix"...pretty sad, really. Some of the problems since the update: Sprint TV not working, Pandora not working, Radio Time not working, Ring Tones clitchy, small playbox next to each ringtone does not work, phone is actually more slugish and freezes up during an alarm or phone vibrate action.
Palm, there are thousands of us who want you to succeed, but you are not making it easy to stay loyal to a product that is not reliable!

Palm Pre 1.4 Problems with bluetooth. My BMW will not allow my Pre to work. When I called Pakistan Palm support they told me I have 20 more days until my warranty is up.

I'm not going to complain or threaten to get another phone but my pixi plus is getting the too many cards warning with only one card open. I hope 1.5 or whatever version will fix it.

first I love my pre on sprint, and was the greatest phone I have ever had before the recent update. When a web page loads now why does it go to the top of the page when it has finished loading? It drives me crazy! Also my phone can be at 25% battery and it tells me it's going to shut down soon with 1% life a minute later. It freezes now for sometimes 30 seconds and will not respond to anything. I had to take the battery out of it today because the front light was flashing and screen was dark and would not respond. Answers?

I have had my Plam Pre since October 09 on the o2 UK Network. when I updated to 1.4 i lost all my Apps but i have used the migration tool to restore this and my phone works fine. So much that advised my wife to take one out with o2. It arrived last week, set it all up and did the update to 1.4 and had problems with no screen response, no internet and no apps. o2 said this is a palm problem and causing them major issues. They sent another phone out to replace it, this one i just set up and did not do the update. When it was put on charge today it did the update on its own, installed 1.4 and now it has no network or wifi connectivity. I can not access the internet or access the apps catalog. I have searched on internet and found many forums with complaints over the last 3 weeks with no solutions!!! o2 dont even know what to do!!! GET A GRIP PALM. Roll back to the last good working update and tell us how to update our phone seen as they can not access the internet anymore...!!!! SORT IT OUT...!!!!

I love the new update, and I think Palm fixed a lot of minor things I did not like about the phone. The one update that drives me mad, is that there is no longer a time and date stamp on SMS the next day? Why would you take that away? I count on that at work and has already caused a couple problems, so I am hoping that is fixed soon. I'm sure it can't take up much space... Please bring my time and date stamps back on SMS--other than that it's an awesome phone.
