The latest version of Palm webOS is launching initially for Sprint Palm Pre and Palm Pixi customers in the US. Palm webOS 1.3.5 offers improved performance and enhancements for several features, as well as more consistent performance for Palm Pixi. Notable improvements include:
- Room for more apps: You can now download and store gigabytes of applications, effectively eliminating the limitation on the number of apps that could be installed.
- Better battery management: Users in areas with marginal network coverage may see improved battery life.
- Palm Beta App Catalog improvement: Searching for and downloading apps have been enhanced.

Will I be able to sync all my gmail contacts? Or is there a way now? I've had trouble doing so since .3.1.

Changelog says there is some speed/performance increases on the Pixi but not on the Pre... That is kind of upsetting. Let's see how it goes.

I just got a "new" Palm Treo 755. It is my first "smart phone".
There are programs in the applications that I cannot use. How do I remove them?

I like the update overall, but I feel like my battery is being used at a much more quick rate. It's also hotter than usual.

My battery life since update 1.3.5 has been TERRIBLE. Is there anything that I can do to address this? I had no problems with my battery life before this latest update.

Why is it that birthdays still are not copied automatically into the calendar? Not only that, but there is no way to set an event to recur on the same day every year, so you can't even enter recurring birthdates manually. This is a HUGE piece of very basic functionality that should have been included from day one, that is still missing. Not only that, but it is trivial to implement. Why is this still missing???
