Love the phone, will not use Sprint. Let me know when it is connected to Verizon.

Smartphones have their place, but do not forget the users who just want a PDA. Please continue to manufacture dedicated handhelds without an integral phone. The TX was the best PDA palm has ever made. The screen size was optimal, the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi worked. Now that Palm makes smartphones and discontinued handhelds, many shoppers will opt for another brand like Apple or Android. Migrating the data (including Memos) is near impossible. This brings us back to Palm, and the realization that the Palm PDA system worked best for business. Many doctors, lawyers, engineers, and medical professionals need the data on their handheld, and do not feel the need to swithch to a smartphone with their smaller screens and $140/mo service plans. Don't forget who got you here.

I have been a loyal Palm device customer since the Palm Pilot all the way to my current Treo 680. I live in an area that only has AT&T coverage and my current Treo is through that service. I am at a point where I need to upgrade my phone as the Treo (mac) operating system is very out dated. When I first learned of the Pre and now Pixi I was completely dismayed that I would not be able to get either through my service due to the Pre's/Pixi's exclusive arrangements. Sad to say I'll be upgrading to an iPhone (which I'm not to keen on) as I do want the modern interface and usability but can no longer wait for ATT and Palm to get cozy enough to offer the phone jointly..... is there any hope that the Pre or Pixi will be available through AT&T soon (switching services is not an option)?
