OK nice, but what about Italy? I'd really like to buy a Pre! Preferably with 16 GB or SD micro slot!
Please bring it to Italy ASAP! :-)
Thanks

Bertrand

As a french user of Palm for over 15 years, I would love to know when Pre will be available in France ?

What is happing with the Palm?

The company launch the TWO BEST products in many years and; now, don't put this product to sell!! Or put in most closest markets (change "z" for "y" is not good for us, 'non-germany citizens').

C'mon, THIS the Palm have to learn with Apple: GSM can to be used in most parts around the world, and the IPhone has been selled in USA, to be unlocked and used in other countries. THIS happened the Apple.

But now, the Palm Pre is selled in few countries, and is very, VERY expensive to buy unlocked! I'm not saying that the Pre no have value, but the Palm Pre and Pixi MUST be massiviness, because the WebOS 'Hype' is dead now! Why?

Because everybody is tired to see only pictures in Internet. What sold the IPhone was the fact that the people CAN to buy! Was expensive in begining but the people BUYED! After the price was cheap, and the people HAVE how to buy, and use!

Wake up! Someone really believe that all IPhones selled in USA was only to internal market? Off course... that NO! Was GSM; so, could to be buyed there, and use here!

I live in Brazil; the country with less impact on Global Crisis, and here we have a big market to sell smartphones, if could be accessible. And when I say 'accessible', I saying 'physical and financial accessible'!

Here, there are stores (for example: Casas Bahia) that sell its products in 17 months interest free, in credit card or until 24 months in carnet. It's crazy, but the folk buy!

I'm no one to say what the others have to do, but if the Palm put the Palm Pixi unlocked to sell here for; who knows, R$ 750,00 ($ 400.00) as final price, gonna sell TOO MUCH! Today, this is the Palm Centro price in many stores (more cheap, in others...).

And more: Need to do some BIG changes in Palm Brazil, because we NEVER HAS SUPPORT.
The Celestica gave the support here and; saying directly the true, that company BURNED THE PALM IMAGE IN BRAZIL. But VERY BURNED, BURNED and BURNED. Not only the Palm products, but the HTC products, too... but they is not important here now!

I like some Palm Products, and I love it my Treo 680. To me, is a fantastic product... but I know that; if I have some problem, or I solve for I self; of I sit and cry, because NO HAVE SOLUTIONS FROM PALM BRAZIL.

So, I leave two things: first: Palm Pixi unlocked with the actual Palm Centro price gonna sell; and the Palm Brazil needs some attention from Palm US. Why? Why the Europe and USA no have the potential to grow as we.

And after the Pixi, the market gonna be prepared to receive the Palm Pre.

Sorry for two things: the outburst, but was in time to someone say something; and for the terrible english, but I don't live in USA... I live in Brazil, where no have WebOS devices to buy...

Best Regards...

Cassandra
