Euro-celebs Matthew Horne, Mr Hudson, Rachel Stephens, Alphabeat, Mel B (aka Scary Spice), VV Brown, Jade Jagger and a few hundred others were doing some serious celebrating in anticipation of Palm Pre on the O2 network this Friday. OK, but when is it coming out elsewhere in Europe?
Can we PLEASE have details for the rest of the European countries (France being the one that interests me).
We've been asking for this information for a while now, all we get is silence. I get the distinct feeling that the Pre isn't going to come out over here, but you just don't want to say it. The silence is killing the appeal of this phone, and making us potential customers turn to other possibilities. I wanted to get a Pre. I wanted to avoid the iPhone. Now it looks like I'll be buying an iPhone; why? Because it's on sale. Because I don't know if the Pre will ever be sold in France.
This silent uncommunicative roll out means you're losing customers who WANTED to buy your phone. Maybe if you told us if/when we'll get to buy the phone we might wait?

Where are the news for the rest of european countries cutted out by exclusivity for some carriers? Palm, you have now request for the Palm Pre phone from Italy, France, Indonesia, India, Australia, Holland, Portugal, Slovenia, Russia, Belgium, Austria, China, Japan, Croatia, and this list is sure no complete! now imagine all those countries...imagine that...imagine they'll go iphone...or android... a beautiful picture! isn't it? got the message? thank you. ^__^

Yes, I completely agree with previous comments: when will it be launched in other European countries? The Pre has been on the Dutch Palm website for MONTHS now! It's kind of unfair to promise this fantastic new phone and then make us wait for sooo long (if it'll every be launched anyway). I know there are providers in Holland that are happy so sell the Pre (Hi/KPN for example) and I'm sure there will be providers in other countries as well. This was looking to be a very promising phone but I'm looking for a new phone NOW and I'm not waiting till Christmas or later. I'm seriously considering the HTC Hero with Android now unless you launch the Pre in the next 4 weeks. It just makes me wonder: why would you kill a wonderful phone like this?

I join all those you demand info about the prospects for the availability of the Prē in other European countries. My interest is specifically Finland. And what about an unlocked Prē available through Palm's European webstore?
