Well, I live in Indonesia and very much likely not eligible to enter the contest, but I'm here to support Palm Pixi launch. Be sure to launch it globally now... Asia is waiting.

Why all the hush-hush about not coming to Australia? Please honour those who've held on this long by making it official.

Yeah I tried to get in with the new stuff. After having a couple of palm handhelds over the past 8 years I decided to move up a little and get a centro (my first smartphone). I liked the concept of the product- a phone and I won't have a problem syncing my info because of the family platform.
1 year and 3 refurbished phones later I find that the Sprint network wasn't centro friendly.
Never mind having a terrible product (in the centro). I wanted to keep that PalmOS (and eventually webOS) platform. I look to the Pre...great phone, but I must pay more on my plan in order to use it. What I don't understand is why would you do the same thing with the Pixie? Based on what I know and what I've read on your site about the new phone's capabilities it will require an enhanced data plan like the Pre. I know that when a company releases a product it has to be ahead of the times, but with the elimination of the handhelds and with no upgraded PalmOS smartphone (and yes I looked at the treo pro but I'm not computer savvy; I most likely will lose all of my information trying to convert to windows mobile) on my existing network Palm will lose me. I refuse to pay more for a data plan that I don't need. What I liked about Palm in the first place besides its simplistic OS was that there was a handheld for every person and every budget. And with Palm being the first smartphone I had (though defective, I thought the phone when it worked did what I needed it to do), to be loyal wasn't a problem. Now with the launch of yet another phone that needs the priciest plan and nothing on the horizon for a cost effective option, I'm not sure how loyal I can be. But what is loyalty in the world of electronics, right?
