You might be able to make a good product in a vacuum, but creating a great platform is something that requires the efforts of a community with diverse perspectives and interests. At Palm, we have a number of channels for engaging with different communities – this blog, @palm on Twitter, our Facebook page, our customer support forums, and the webOSdev community.
And we’ve recently bolstered our commitment to engaging with the developer community with the addition of an incredible dynamic duo that will share the role of Directors of the Palm Developer Relations team. Dion Almaer and Ben Galbraith are both co-founders of the popular Ajaxian.com site, have led a team creating developer tools for Mozilla, and are widely recognized as experts in Java and other Web technologies. If you’re interested in developing for webOS, they’re interested in connecting with you -- get introduced to them here.

I love my Pre for its Multifunctioning ability and interchangability of batteries, however it is cumbersome and inconvenient to have to take your battery out and replace it with another battery and wait for that battery to charge up. What Palm needs to do is come up with a dock or something like the Touchstone to charge the spare battery. This is a must for those of us that use the spare battery.

Palm Pre is great when is Sprint going to work with Charter Communications, Inc so they can be just added to the phone instead od trying to use g mail to make a charter email work. They are a big company. It would also be help if Sprint was upfront in these markets about the problem since they DO NOT bring it up until after you buy the phone and then its your problem

I think the company would do better, if they invested a lot of time taking in the feedback of the users and what they want, that they don't have yet.
In business, it's about giving people what they want in life and providing something innovative.
Apple listened to the public a lot with the ipod and made the surface less scratchable.

Hey! How about a new PDA?
How about appeasing the multitudes who loved you before?
How about a phone free PDA?
