The Pre Experience opens today at The Grove in LA for the next two weeks. Visitors get a hands-on experience with Pre, a chance to win prizes, and weekly free concerts. (Michelle Branch and American Idol contestant Jason Castro take the stage this Wednesday evening, followed by Gavin Rossdale next Wednesday.)
Below is a Photobucket slideshow from the Pre Experience at Americana at Brand (all photos taken on a Pre, of course). Highlights included a visit from Jennifer Love Hewitt and packed free concerts from Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Carlton.

Rats. I've been hoping the Pre's camera would be as good as the iPhone's, but these images suggest that it isn't. In any case, I'm waiting till the Pre (or Pixi) is on Verizon, so you guys have about 6 months to improve the camera. Get to work! Don't disappoint me again!

I was # 54 on getting my Pre when it came out. I am semi disappointed with the Pre.... I was telling people from what I kept reading on blogs and YouTube that the Pre was going to kill there I-phone. NOT........ open mouth insert foot! It needs flash so you can view video apps and other programs! No video cam??? whats up with that, the store said to keep it slim they didn't put the cam on there. Come on, the phone is for everything in life the future is video chat and that unexpected moment that you just needed to catch something on video. If its going to be anywhere close to the I-Phone someone needs to step up with the apps! Where is a Yahoo app for IM, Games, etc... About 40-50% of I-Phones apps are a joke but they have alot! Please Palm step up the game with more apps, flash and other programs that are used on an everyday computer so we can download, and or watch things on the fly!!! Maybe I am just asking for too much. PS my letters on the back are falling off????
