Palm is where it's at! I've owned the Centro, and I bought it when it came out, used it to the fullest extent for a year and a half. Now I'm using the Treo 800, and spend close to 8 hours a day web browsing, texting, and "facebooking" it up. The only way it could be better is by using the newest Palm technology! You've gotta let me try it out!!!

Palm dropped the ball "BIG TIME" when they left out voice-dial!!! How do you expect the millions of would-be Pre-users to make a call while driving down the interstat??? Speed-dialing while speed driving = fatal accidents!!! How stupid, short-sighted and inconsidertate can you be??? Every wireless phone that does anything more than make a call has a voice-dail feature. What was the technical limitation that the product managers had to consider here? We don't need an extra button on the phone; hello; soft-screen button / Blue-tooth headset button!!!
If I had known this before I purchased, I never would have! You guys have a great phone, otherwise, however, I'm not trying to risk crashing everytime I want to make a call while driving.
Ever heard of the HTC Touch Pro2? That's the phone I'll be returning my Pre for. I suggest that the millions of potential Pre users do the same if they make calls while driving. It could save lives!

All of the mp3 players that I have used in the past would automatically update the information such as artist and album art. Considering that the pre is always connected to the web I would have thought its music player would have had these features. My Treo would let me add address information to my contact list. The Pre will only let you connect to addresses on a on line address book. I am disappointed about these app features being overlooked.
