Sprint has announced today that the Palm Pre will be available on June 6. Sprint announced that it will be available nationwide in Sprint stores, as well as at Best Buy, Radio Shack, and select Wal-Mart stores. The webOS-based phone will retail for $199.99 (after rebate and service agreement).
The Palm Pre will provide access to all of the exclusive content on the Sprint Now Network, including Sprint Navigation, Sprint TV, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Mobile Live. More details about Sprint’s service plans and retail channels can be found on the company’s website.

We returned our iPhone 3G's after 13 days, primarily because the Pre looked like a better fit for what we wanted (external keyboard, better sync integration).
I hope the Pre is all it's cracked up to be.

I am also NOT looking to switch to Sprint to get this phone. Where I live, if you're not with 500 yards of a major highway the coverage is terrible. Is it true that Sprint has a 6-month exclusive rights contract to the Palm Pre before other carriers can try to pick it up? U.S. Cellular would be a good option (for me anyway).

OMG! finally, I switched over to ATT for the Iphone early this year cause I was disappointed when I found out the PRE was not coming out until 6 month later only to lose it and have been stuck using a crappy blackberry until june 6. YES! 3 more weeks and ill finally dump ATT. Thank you Palm/Sprint..

When you open it up to Verizon, sent out a shout.

I have been waiting for the Pre since last Fall. I have a Pocket PC that i have had since summer of 2006(the 1st heavy one). Yes it is old but I love it so much that I didn't need another one until the Pre. But since my husband is an employee I have to wait longer until he can get his price. UGGGH. It will be worth it!!!!
I won't be jealous of iPhone users anymore. Hee Hee.

Kinda crummy for those of us whose Palm is dying and are locked into a contract with another company. Hopefully before my E2 dies completely, some others companies will be able to have Pre and I can have my stuff transfered to the Pre. Might have to get a B....B...., which just doesn't cut it! Just get me a new E2 and I could wait for the Pre, but I can't do that because it's not available. May someday I won't be one of those people who get stuck in the gaps companies create.

Frustrating that all these phone developers think they have to align with one service provider. 'Pre' looks great but Sprint not so much. Open it up to rest of us!

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY...IT SEEMS LIKE I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YEARS. THE PRE IS NOT COMING ON MY B-DAY DAY...BUT MY IS AT THE END OF THE MONTH. GUESS I WILL GET THE HOTTEST PHONE OUT FOR MY B-DAY.

I had to replace my last phone in February 09 on US Cellular. I'll take a big hit if I cancel and go to Sprint at this time. I will have to look at one to see if it is worth it.

I have been with Palm from the beginning and this PRE looks fantastic, but so did the 800W. Great phone, battery life lack considerably. To the point that I have been seriously considering paying out my contract switching to Verizon and joining the crackberry world.
We have to have at least 8 hours on one solid charge. Makes conventions, and long flights difficult..........

I am an AT&T Treo 650 user and have been anxiously awaiting the Pre; it appears to be an amazing phone... How long must I wait till AT&T offers it? We, too, have a corporate plan and don't want to switch everyone over to Sprint; hope their customers work the bugs out...
My sister's Treo 600 bit the dust; she had to succumb to buying the iPhone. So far she's satisfied with it, but plans to test run the Pre when it is available on AT&T, too; she just couldn't wait and work with a crippled phone.
We're ready and waiting with money in hand!

I have been with Sprint for 11 years with 4 of them using Palm phones. I like using the best and I know the Palm Pre is a top of the line phone! Been anticipating this phone for months now. I will be getting one!!! YEAH

Can't wait to get back to Sprint. I left for ATT and the Blackberry Bold. The ATT service stinks and the Bold is just ok. Too small and not good for web browsing like the iphone. I am looking forward to coming back.
