I have had the Handspring Visor, Palm Pilot, the Tungsten E, and several Treo 650s. My carrier encourages me to leave Palm each time I am in the store, but I really like what I have and I am very excited by the idea of the Pre. I also wanted to chime in solidarity w/some of the earlier commenters that:
1) I love the Palm Desktop and the 3rd party software I have been using for a long time and hope to continue to use them on the Pre
2) I would LOVE to keep my current carrier and NOT be forced to switch to Sprint just to keep using your products (which I love) 3) I wholly support the ideas expressed earlier about syncing and also 3rd party apps which I too have invested lots of money in, as well as the suggestion for an sd slot. I hope you will do right by these 3rd party app. makers and existing customers of Palm.
I hope I will be pleasantly surprised when this new device comes out and just wanted to add my comments since it seems like the comment stream died out after January.
