The feature-packed Treo Pro smartphone -- which runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and includes Wi-Fi, GPS, a touch screen and full keyboard-- is one of the first handsets to have received 3G network certification in the AT&T Specialty Vertical Device program. The AT&T Network Compatible Treo Pro is available now through AT&T Business Alliance Channels, including CDW, Insight, CNM Wireless, and VOX Mobile.
And here's another way to get your hands on an AT&T Treo Pro -- free! For those of you in the New York area, Palm will be giving away a Treo Pro at a holiday event our friends at Engadget are throwing this Friday, December 19 at the Hiro Ballroom in Manhattan at 7:00 p.m. Attendance is free and Engadget is expecting over 1,000 attendees with food, dancing, and tech infused together in a cornucopia of geeky good times. Tell 'em Palm sent ya!

Edelman for Palm
Even though many people love Windows Mobile, I don't. I had a Smartphone with it, and I could get rid of it soon enough.
I have seen the Palm Centro, and am unimpressed, as it's smaller, and even seem fragile compare to earlier PalmOS phones.
My question is this: When are you going to make a Treo Pro that will run PalmOS?

Thanks for the comments and question, Anysia. Just to clarify vocabulary, going forward Palm is using the "Treo" name only for Windows Mobile-based devices. And you might want to join the discussion on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=32915930478&topic=5379 where several Palm users are chiming in on the specific features and form factors they'd like to see in their next Palm phone.
