How do you use the camera and video built into your Centro? How about snapping a photo to remind you where you parked in the airport's long-term parking lot four days ago? Here are a few clever ideas shared by visitors to our Facebook page:

I actually have a Palm Treo 750, but I use the camera in these ways:
1. Is somebody parked too close to you, or parked crooked in the next spot? Take a picture of their license plate. If they sideswipe you, you have their plate number. Heck, anytime you park, just snap a wide picture of your car and the cars around it; you can also find your car later this way.
2. Price shopping for a new HDTV? Who needs a notepad? Snap a pic of the price/description; it usually also has the specs, model number and features. Later, you can compare the pictures at home on your PC.
3. Somebody cut you off on the highway, in a company truck? Don't give them the finger - snap a picture of the "How's my driving?" sign+phone number on the back. If they don't have that, snap their picture and/or the license plate or truck number. You can call their boss when you get to work and tell them what a schmuck works for them. I did this to the telephone company guy, when his truck nearly crashed me into a concrete wall. I had photographs of his face, glaring at me, which I emailed to his boss (WARNING: Taking pictures of someone's face might lead to road rage - be cool).
4. My wife is an antique dealer. I sometimes stop by the antique mall (around the corner from where I work) at lunch, and snap a few pics of her booth, so she can see what sold and if the booth needs straightening.
5. Going to the grocery? Snap a pic of your fridge + cupboard now. You might wonder at the store - do we have any crackers for the chili?
Think of your camera as a visual notepad - why scribble on paper when you can just snap a picture?

I loved michael's comments, and have done many of them myself. (at least 1,2 & 5)
sadly "little reminders" are all the phones sad little camera is good for
I do a great deal of site work, and if the treo/centro had an even semi-decent camera it would be a much greater asset, as I always carry it. it's always frustrating when you realise you do not have a digital camera, and you will have to make do with the treo

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
