PLEASE get the Centro on Virgin Mobile USA!

We have just purchased two of the new Palm Centro's. We up graded from the Palm Treo which had color coding of events in the Calendar which is no longer supported by the Centro.

As a disabled veteran, I found these color coding very useful to distinguish between my medical appointments, business and personal appointments. I was able to tell at a glance which type of appointment it was. I have used the palm devices for over 10 years for that reason. I started with the first Palm smartphone that had come out, and keep upgrading as you bring out new phones.

The color coding and other options that were and are only available with the Palm OS, are the reason we stay with the Palm and not move to the Microsoft Windows phones!

Is there any way you can bring this back in an upgrade?

Tom

You can pat yourself on the back as much as you want but you have to be concerned with a $199 iPhone. The Blackberry Thunder also looks quite appealing. I can tell you I am tempted to abandon ship when my contract with Verizon is up in January 2009. In fact I may not wait around. I may take the hit for early termination fees and jump ship sooner.

You better start releasing tidbits of information on your new operating system and phone VERY SOON or you will lose a lot of potential customers who do not want to sit around and wait in a vacuum.
