Chameleons and smartphones

Chameleon_2

I'm moblogging from my Palm Centro at Digital Experience in NYC, where the theme of the party is "welcome to the jungle." The special guests of the evening are exotic animals, including a panther chameleon.

When you think about it, Centro is similiar to a chameleon - it helps people adapt to their current environment. And of course there are lots of different colors to choose from.

Comments

How is it that Palm folks have time to attend wacky parties and post information-free blog posts, but they never seem to have time to respond to legitimate comments from their user base? Comments like "When (if ever) will "My Location" be made available to the faithful-yet-forgotten 700p/755p family?". Palm seems to have completely forgotten how to relate to customers.

I just don't like that keyboard on the centro, I really like the "Smile Style" keyboard layout, it feels more natural. Hey, by the way, hurry up with that jazzy new 850 with the Palm OS. I'll buy one full retail right now.

What do you use to moblog from your Centro?

Hi Josh,

I use the TypePad mobile application to moblog from my Centro. It's a free stand-alone application that lets you upload text and images directly from your phone. Here's a link with details: http://www.typepad.com/features/mobile.html.
