We're Seeing Red...Ruby Red...
The Ruby Red Centro is now available for $99 (two-year contract, after rebates and instant savings) in Sprint stores, Palm stores, and online at www.sprint.com and www.palm.com/centro.
Are you seeing red?
-Stephanie Richardson

"Are you seeing red?"
Yes, I am, and so are all your other loyal customers who purchased the Treo 755p. When are you going to fix the awful bugs with connectivity for Sprint users? (Not to mention the DTMF tone annoyance.)

Yes, seeing red like a bull because Palm isn't announcing the Treo we need... and it isn't the 500/Centro.

I would like to send this message to "Keneth " in your Technical Support Dept.: "I want to thank you for your assistance in solving my hotsync problem on 11/6/07. You were very patient and knowlegeable.
We solved the problem by changing my "User Name". You did a great job." Thanks. Jerry.

Nice phone. But when are you going to market with another Palm OS based phone that is either tri or quad band... you are loosing me as a long standing Palm customer as you move away from your application to a Window's. Disappointing.

I just bought one for my teenage daughter, an upgrade from her 700p which was so big, grey and ugly. See the picture at http://www.flickr.com/photos/globalx/1914253970/
She LOVES it! She shows it off whenever she has a chance, and she wears her red coat and her red glasses. Perfect (smart)phone for a teenager!
The hotsync went very well --first we made sure to back up her Entourage files on her Mac, just in case. Within minutes, she had all her data on her new red Centro!
There was just one problem: sticker shock. I had to pay full price because she wasn't eligible for a discount: $433 including tax. That was painful...
That must be the Sprint way to thank its best customers --I have been on Sprint for TEN years nonstop, since 10/27/1997.

If a Treo without keyboard and with a huge display (320x480) were not a good idea why has apple sold more the 1.5million IPhones???
How long palm till you give us a TX with cell phone?

You're seeing red alright... red all over the place in your accounting books!

Yes Im seeing ruby red too from the lack of support with the bugs Im experiencing with my 755p and the long sleepless nights on the the phone with tech support. Its time for all your current customers to start "seeing" another device other than Palm. How long will it be until the new Centro device start experiencing "our" bugs?

Just how long do you think you can keep fooling customers into buying new phones that are just repackaged versions of the same thing you've been selling for the last several years?
When are we going to see some hardware (internals) that don't look like they came from 2002? Bluetooth 2.0 was standardized in '04 and you're still stuck on 1.2 with no A2DP? Where's the MiniUSB connector? Integrated GPS?
You guys are just treading water. Please know we don't want you to sink, but fear that's what's happening.

No, I'm not seeing red, but seeing black... black because in the meantime palm it's playing around with their little toy for teenagers (centro) a LOT of things are happening... Nokia its using an Access's emulator for Palm OS... and HP it's making new pda's... and there's still a lot... A LOT of users of palm devices (like TX users like me) that are waiting for a hand from you.
I would like to use my TX for real internet (with flash and full java) and with a more updated OS system.
I would like to buy a smartphone with BT AND WIFI... also with a more advanced OS.
So plz palm... listen to us. The costumers.

Wow there is a lot of bitterness here. I am seeing red too...a new Ruby Red Centro. I love it. I had avoided Palms like the plague for years using Pocket PCs and their brethren. The Centro is a pretty good cell phone, and works well for calling and texting. It is just the right size for these activities. I wish the Mac sync options were better..and the "Copy to Ringtone" feature in the Voice Memo function used more than 2 seconds of the audio, but overall I am pretty pleased. One request: Why is paste menu-p, when every operating system uses Ctrl-V to accomplish this?

Cool!!! These look great!!! When will they be released in Australia? You should make them official Product Red products to help raise aids awareness.
Keep up the great work! I can't wait for the new OS to be released (fingers crossed it has 3G support).
